You can do something in a way that no one else can. Ever thought about that? The Bible says you are “fearfully and wonderfully” made. I don’t know what that means to you but the meaning of it is amazing. When you do a little background study of the word fearfully, what you discover is that “fearfully” means to be made with reverence. The creator of the Universe made you with such reverence, respect and awe! If He made you with respect, then what would it be like for you to have a sense of value, worth and respect for yourself? See, I believe that because you and I were made in His image, our capacity for greatness is enormous!

Unfortunately, the sad truth is many do not feel that way. Most of us as children are very excited about life. We love to dream, to play and to imagine. It doesn’t take long for the song in our hearts to die or fade away. It doesn’t take long to hear messages like “you will never amount to anything!” “You can’t do that!” “You’re an idiot!” “Who do you think you are”? We accept these messages and they become the script through which we do our life.

We all start out unique as originals only to end up as copies. Before you know it, we find our lives dancing to the beat of another drum. Through time we discover that we have been pressed into a mold that someone else has given us and it doesn’t fit very well!

I believe it is time for you to recover your heart, your voice and your passion. You were born to create, to dream, to explore and to impact and influence everything you touch! Don’t de-value your significance or worth. You are as precious and unique as your fingerprint! There is no one else like you and no one else that can do what you do. Don’t let anyone rob you of your joy, your dream or your passion. You matter, your dreams matter and more importantly, you matter to the One who flung the stars into space. He knows every hair on your head and calls you His own.
